PSAV’s roots go back to the early 1960s in providing audiovisual (AV) leadership in the meetings industry. In the last decade, PSAV expanded and consolidated regional AV companies to meet growing customer demand for a national source of consistent, high-quality audiovisual support.                                                              The Las Vegas Branch Team:

Jay Jurgensen, Branch Director

 

Jay joined PSAV in 1991 and brings over 20 years of operational and sales experience in the event technology field.  Over the years Jay has held multiple Director positions with PSAV’s Hotel Services division, most recently at one of PSAV’s Premiere hotel offices on the West Coast.  Jay is a hands-on, practical manager with experience in all fields of the industry.  His vast knowledge of hotel operations and staging, along with his passion for delivering and focusing on the client’s message, has garnered accolades from hotel partners and end users alike.

 

Rob Rohde, Operations Manager

 

Rob joined PSAV in October 1991.  Initially part of the Phoenix based team, Rob was tasked with the responsibility of opening the Las Vegas Branch in June of 2002.  Rob brings over 23 years of Warehouse, Operational, and Logistics Coordination to the team.  Rob served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the first Gulf War.

 

Hector Vargas, Sales Manager

 

Hector brings over 17 years of convention and tradeshow experience to the PSAV team, joining in January of 2005.  Hector began his career at United Exposition as Operations Manager of their New York office.  In 1994, he relocated to GES’s Las Vegas Office, selling and producing many of their major national accounts that travelled to the area.  Prior to joining PSAV, Hector was National Sales Manager for Freeman Corporate Events, where he serviced: Tupperware, United Steelworkers of America, California School Employees Association, Quizno’s, along with many other accounts.  Hector is a graduate of Pace University, New York City.

 

Sam Dunbar, Sales Manager

 

Sam brings over 9 years of experience to the Las Vegas team.  Sam is very client-focused and customer-centric.  During her years in audio visual, she has established relationships with clients, venues, and AV suppliers across the country.  Sam looks forward to each new relationship and eagerly awaits serving you. 

 

Nathan Box, Sales Manager

 

Nathan recently joined the PSAV team in Las Vegas after a successful assignment as Director of Event Technology for PSAV’s Hotel Services team in Los Angeles.  Nathan brings over 15 years experience in the live production/event technology market.  Nathan has excelled at establishing long-term partnerships as well as improving customer satisfaction with end users and hotel partners alike.  Nathan is a graduate of Full Sail University.
